Carine de Godoi Rezende Costa

PhD in Physical Oceanography by the Oceanographic Institute of the University of Sao Paulo (USP), with collaborative period at Stevens Institute of Technology (USA). Worked as a research technician in the Coastal Hydrodynamics Laboratory at USP, where developed research in observational oceanography and operational numerical modeling of continental shelves and estuaries. Principal developer of PreAMar, the first observing and forecasting system for the Sao Paulo State coast (http://preamar.io.usp.br/). Currently, I work as a Physical Oceanographer in the Research and Development Team at MetOcean Solutions, the oceanographic branch of MetService New Zealand. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
