Maria Luisa da Silva Pinto Jorge

She has a BS in Biological Sciences and Secondary Education from Universidade de São Paulo (1995), a MSc in Ecology from Universidade de São Paulo (2000) and a PhD in Biological Sciences from University of Illinois at Chicago (2007). She is currently Associate Professor of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Vanderbilt University (Nashville, TN, USA).
