Bachelors and Teaching Degree in Biological Sciences from the School of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo (FFCLRP-USP), completed in 2012/14. In 2013, I completed an intercalated year of a BSc in Biotechnology at Newcastle University in Newcastle upon Tyne (United Kingdom) through the Science Without Borders program.PhD in Sciences from the Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo (FCFRP-USP), completed in 2020, including a sandwich period at the University of California, Davis in Sacramento (USA) in 2017, supported by FAPESP and CAPES scholarships.I have 15 years of experience in Research and Development, specializing in cell culture technologies, 3D cell culture, patient-derived tumor organoids (PDOs), and alternative methods to animal testing. During this time, I have participated in several research projects in collaboration with Hemocenter of Ribeirão Preto, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto, Ribeirão Preto Medical School Hospital, São Paulo State Cancer Institute (ICESP), In Situ Cell Therapy, and Fundação PIO XII Hospital de Amor in Barretos.In 2019, I founded the startup Living Out in vitro cell testing, aimed at developing an oncology diagnostic test to personalize treatment selection for colorectal cancer patients using patient-derived tumor organoids (PDTOs). I served as Principal Investigator for the companys RD projects until 2024. Currently, I remain a partner without salary or employment relationship. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
