Currently, she is employed at the Butantan Institute, where she primarily focuses on the diagnostics of viral diseases, proficiency testing, validations, and equivalence tests, utilizing the Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-qPCR) technique. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Human Physiology at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences I at the University of São Paulo (USP). She holds a Doctorate in Sciences from USP and a Licentiate degree in Biological Sciences from Universidade Paranaense (UNIPAR).
