Kristerson Reinaldo de Luna Freire

Currently an Associate Professor at the Biotechnology Center of the Federal University of Paraíba. He has experience in the field of Organic Chemistry, with an emphasis on Brewing Biotechnology, Natural Products Chemistry, and Organic Synthesis, focusing primarily on the following topics: beer production using fruits and other adjuncts, utilization of by-products from beer production, extraction, isolation, identification, and synthesis of organic compounds. He holds a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Paraíba (2004), a master's degree in Natural and Synthetic Bioactive Products from the Federal University of Paraíba (2007), a doctorate in Sciences from the UNICAMP (2011), and a postdoctoral fellowship at UNICAMP (2012).
