He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the School of Engineering of Lorena (2003), a master's degree in Industrial Biotechnology from the School of Engineering of Lorena (2006) and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2010). He completed postdoctoral internships at the University of São Paulo and the State University of Rio de Janeiro. He has experience in the area of Chemical Engineering, with an emphasis on Effluent Treatment, working mainly on the following topics: micropollutants, HRP, enzymatic degradation, antibacterial activity, immobilization of oxidative enzymes, laccase, treatment of effluents with white rot fungi.
