Leonardo Reitano

University Professor in the Computer Sciences Department, at the Faculdade das Américas - FAM, focusing in the Game Design graduation. Doctorate student in Semiotics and General Linguistics at the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences - FFLCH-USP, being also having a Master's degree in Semiotics and General Linguistics at the same institution. Graduate student in Visual Arts - bachelor and licentiate modalities - at the State University of São Paulo Julio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP) with a Scientific Initiation Scholarship (IC) from FAPESP. Its research focus is on digital communication spaces, focusing on mass culture - such as comics, digital games and the like - from the perspective of semiotics, narratology and ludology. Produced several courses and events in the area of digital culture, games and education - such as the SPJam Marathon (2011-2016) and the Heart Bits space (2015), at the "Virada Cultural" in São Paulo - as well as participated as jury in events about games and education - Games Music Brasil (2012) and ComKids Interactive Festival (2020), as well as a speaker at the Games for Change - Latin America (2015) events.
