My research focuses on the comparative morphology of fossil lepidosaursincluding lizards, snakes, and sphenodontiansfrom the Mesozoic and Cenozoic eras. I also study the Neogene fossil record of the Brazilian Amazon, with a particular emphasis on reptilian faunal assemblages and the chronological framework and temporal resolution of the Miocene in northern South America.
