She is currently a faculty member at the School of Applied Sciences (FCA) of the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Chemical Engineering from the former School of Chemical Engineering of Lorena (currently the School of Engineering of Lorena EEL/USP, 2002), a Masters degree (2006) and a Ph.D. (2010) in Chemical Engineering from UNICAMP, followed by postdoctoral research in both Food Engineering and Chemical Engineering (2015), also at UNICAMP.Her academic and research expertise is centered on Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering, with particular focus on: biodegradable polymeric films, applied biotechnology, enzyme immobilization, synthesis of aromatic esters, non-electrochemical corrosion of metallic materials in fuel media, and separation processes.She coordinates the Process Engineering Laboratory (LEP) and the Engineering Education Laboratory (LEE) at FCA/UNICAMP. Her current research is highly interdisciplinary, addressing sustainability through the valorization of agro-industrial waste, the development of functional biodegradable materials, and the design of environmentally friendly solutions for industrial and packaging applications.
