I am an Associate Researcher at SENAI CIMATEC, leader in electrolysis for hydrogen production and guest visiting researcher at UNICAMP, working on a project in the area of fuel cells of the MS-SOFC type in conjunction with CIMATEC. Focus on electrochemical and thermal engineering, specifically in the area of batteries, hydrogen production (thermal and electrochemical route), fuel cells and surface treatment. Furthermore, I am a member of the International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE) and hold the position of vice-president at the Brazil-Germany Association of Engineers (VDI-Brazil).[TRAINING] I completed my doctorate in High Temperature Electrochemistry at the University of São Paulo (USP) in 1999, at the Institute for Energy and Nuclear Research (IPEN), under the guidance of the renowned Dr. Elisabete Pessine and Dr. Waldemar Monteiro and international collaboration by Prof. Dr. Wendt (from TU Darmstadt, Germany) and Prof. Dr. Bouteillon (from the Laboratoire d'Energétique Electrochimique, Grenoble, France).I specialized in "Sustainable Aviation" at the Technische Universiteit Delft (2021), as well as participating in the "Industrial Production of Lithium-Ion Pouch Cells" at the Fraunhofer Institute ISIT / Custom Cells, in Germany (2017). Always seeking to expand my horizon of knowledge, I specialized in "Artificial Intelligence" as a researcher and member of the Oscar Sala Chair at the Institute of Advanced Studies at USP, under the coordination of Dr. Lucia Santaella (2020-2021).My solid education includes a degree in Chemical Engineering (1991) and a bachelor's degree in Chemistry (1993) from Mackenzie University, as well as obtaining the title of Technician in Aircraft Mechanics from the School of Aircraft Mechanics (EMA) in 1990.[AWARDS] My dedication and excellence in the academic and business fields were recognized with several honorable mention awards, granted by respected institutions such as the Fraunhofer Institute, CNI, FINEP, FIESP, SAE, IPT, WRI/FGV, SAE and ABTS.[PAST] In the past, I worked with great honor as a researcher and professor in electrochemistry at the FEI University Center from 2014 to 2023, focused on "Ethanol Reform for Hydrogen Generation" and electrolysis. At IPT, from 2011 to 2017, I played important roles as Head of the Thermal Engineering and Motors Laboratory, as well as advisor to the presidency. I would also like to highlight my management of the "Gasification for Syngas Production" project at IPT, where I supervised a team of 50 researchers. In the business area, at Electrocell, a company of which I was founder and director of innovation, I played a crucial role in coordinating innovative projects, such as 80kW PEMFC for UFRJ buses, 50kW for AES/Eletropaulo and Energy Storage System for ion batteries 722kWh lithium for CESP, totaling the generation of more than 80 products on the market.[BSc degree] In the area of degree: CENTRO UNIVERSITÁRIO FEI, FAAP, and having been invited as a professor by GIZ, USP-PECE, MBA Energia IPT, USP/POLI, USP/IEE, SENAI, ABTS, MAUÁ, OSWALDO CRUZ and BOSCH.[COMPLEMENTARY ACTIVITIES] I was co-Founder and President of the Board of the Brazilian Hydrogen Association (ABH2); I was also Cultural Director of ABTS - Brazilian Surface Treatment Association; I coordinated ABNT's special Hydrogen group (2010-2014) and was part of the electric mobility committee; . My dedication to social responsibility is evidenced by the former president of the NGO Sociedade do Sol, which is dedicated to teaching the construction of Low-Cost Heaters for needy communities.
