I graduated in Food Engineering from the State University of Campinas (FEA / UNICAMP), with a master's degree in Nutrition Science, area of Applied Nutrition to Food Technology, also from the Faculty of Food Engineering at UNICAMP. Ph.D. in Sciences, area of Human Physiology, by the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of São Paulo (ICB / USP) and post-doctorate in the same institution, also in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics. Master and doctoral advisor at the Graduate Program in Chemical Biology at UNIFESP, Campus Diadema. Our research line is to evaluate the activity of extracts or compounds isolated from plants on energy metabolism in models of non-transmissible chronic diseases, especially Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (DM2).
