Graduated in Pharmacy from São Francisco University (2010), Bachelor in Biological Sciences from the State University of Campinas (1998) and Master in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the State University of Campinas (2002). PhD in Genetics with a project focused on the development of new drugs against tuberculosis, where the project was developed at the University of Campinas and part of it in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge, England (2019). I have experience in the field of Genetics and Molecular Biology, with emphasis on molecular markers aimed at Genetic Mapping; heterologous production of proteins, Biophysics and Biochemistry of Proteins. In the period 2003-2013, she worked as a biologist in the Department of Protein Crystallization and Purification at the National Laboratory of Biosciences-CNPEM, developing projects focused on the elucidation of the function-structure of enzymes of biotechnological and pharmacological interest.
