Professor holds degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Paraíba (1997), a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Federal University of São Carlos (1999) and PhD in Chemical Engineering from Federal University of São Carlos (2004). She is currently Associate Professor IV at the Federal University of Paraíba. She is coordinator of the graduate program in Chemical Engineering at UFPB. She was a permanent professor at the Graduate Program in Chemical Engineering at UFC. She was a permanent professor in the Graduate Program in Biosciences at UFBA. She was vice-coordinator and then coordinator of the Engineering Chamber of FAPESB. She was the winner of the national award for best PhD Thesis in Chemical Engineering in 2004. Winner of the best presentation award FUNCAP, 2005. She has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Chemical Engineering, with an emphasis on Bioprocess Engineering, working mainly on the following themes: ethanol, biodiesel , vitamin A derivatives, antibiotic, enzymatic kinetics, immobilized enzyme, bioprocess modeling and simulation, process control and bioreactors.
