"Habilitation" title obtained in 2008 from the University of São Paulo. He is currently Professor at the Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas da Universidade de São Paulo and teaching assistant at the Laboratório de Micologia Médica do Instituto de Medicina Tropical/Departamento de Dermatologia FMUSP. Experience in the areas of Microbiology and Immunology, focusing on Medical Mycology, Pathogen-Hospital Relation; mainly implementing no study of systemic and emerging mycoses. Coordinator (FUSP and FAPESP) and member of the project management committee of the Center for Medical Mycology Unit - CMM LATAM and association with the MRC Center for Medical Mycology - University of Exeter/England (2024/2025 to 2033/2034).
