Graduated in Ciências Biológicas (Biology) from Faculdade de Filosofia Ciências e Letras USP Ribeirão Preto (2001), master's degreee in entomology from Faculdade de Filosofia Ciências e Letras USP Ribeirão Preto (2003), ph.d. at Philosophie Doctorem from Bergen Museum, Universitetet i Bergen (2007) and Ph.D in entomology from Faculdade de Filosofia Ciências e Letras USP Ribeirão Preto (2008). He is now working at Universidade Federal de Alfenas (MG) supervising master and PhD students at UNIFENAS. He has experience in Zoology, focusing on Taxonomy of the Recent Groups, acting on the following subjects: Chironomidae, taxonomy, Orthocladiinae, Brazil and Neotropical region. Recent work on opperant conditioning and free flight trainning of birds of the following orders: Psittaciformes, Columbiformes, Falconiformes, Strigiformes, Cathartiformes and Accipitriformes.
