The researcher holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (19951998) from the Institute of Chemistry of São Carlos, University of São Paulo (IQSC-USP), a direct Ph.D. in Sciences (Analytical Chemistry) (19992003), with a sandwich internship (FAPESP) at the Institute of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry, University of Lausanne, Switzerland, and a postdoctoral fellowship (20102012) funded by CNPq, both conducted at IQSC-USP. She is currently an Associate Professor Level 1 (MS 5.1) at the School of Arts, Sciences, and Humanities, University of São Paulo (EACH-USP). She coordinates the Research Group on Phytochemical Studies, Pollutant Analysis, and Waste Utilization (GEFAPAR) at EACH. Her scientific and academic work focuses on Analytical and Environmental Chemistry, with an emphasis on the following research topics: development and validation of analytical methodologies using chromatography-mass spectrometry, phytochemical studies, investigation of environmental pollutants and their derivatives, and the development of green technologies for waste valorization.
