Helena Singer

PhD in Sociology from the University of São Paulo (2000), completed her postdoctoral studies at the Laboratory for Studies and Research on Education and Diversity at the State University of Campinas (2008). She is dedicated to the themes of democracy, human rights, education and social innovation, on which she has published books and articles in Brazil and abroad. She participated in the creation and management of some leading organizations in these areas in Brazil. In 2015, she became a special advisor to the Minister of Education, responsible for fostering innovation in basic education in the country. Since 2017, she is a leadership member group at Ashoka, being responsible for the strategies for youth in Latin America. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
