I had degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of São Paulo (2010), a PhD in Sciences (Clinical Medicine) from the University of São Paulo (2016), and a postdoctoral fellowship in Pulmonary Pathophysiology and Cholinergic Receptors from UNIFESP, with one year of experience at the University of Texas (2022). Currently, she is conducting a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Texas at Tyler in the College of Pharmacy, focusing on neuroinflammation, nicotinic receptors, and cell culture.I have experience in the fields of pulmonary pathophysiology and neuroinflammation, working primarily on the following topics: inflammatory mediators, acute lung injury, pulmonary remodeling, the cholinergic anti-inflammatory system, nicotinic and muscarinic cholinergic receptors, as well as neuronal inflammation and cell culture.
