Mayara Mari Murata

Agronomist Engineer, graduated from the State University of Londrina (UEL), Brazil, in 2011. During her undergraduate studies, she participated in the academic mobility program under the CAPES/BRAFAGRI Agreement, completing an exchange at the Centre National d'Études Agronomiques des Régions Chaudes (SupAgro), in Montpellier, France. She earned her Master's degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho UNESP (Jaboticabal campus) in 2013. In 2017, she obtained her Ph.D. from the Department of Plant Pathology at the University of Florida, USA, with a scholarship from CAPES through the Science Without Borders Program Full Doctorate Abroad (DPE category). In 2018, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Citrus Research and Education Center (CREC-UF), in Lake Alfred, Florida. She is currently a faculty member in the Agronomy program at the State University of Londrina, working in the fields of Plant Breeding, Molecular Biology, Plant Pathology, Horticulture, Plant Disease Resistance, and Bioinputs.
