I hold a BSc degree in Biological Sciences from University of Brasília UnB, Brazil (2010), a MSc degree in Microbiology from University of São Paulo USP, Brazil (2013), and a PhD in Computational Biology from Imperial College London. I was a Postdoctoral researcher at Yale University, where I investigated the emergence, transmission, and evolution of arboviruses (Genomic Epidemiology). Currently I'm a Research Scientist at Instituto Todos pela Saúde (ITpS), based in São Paulo, Brazil. I was the Executive Director at the Association of Brazilian Postgraduate Students and Researchers in the United Kingdom (2016-2017), In the same period I was the Vice President of the Imperial College Latin American Society. I was a Co-Chair of the Yale Postdoctoral Association, YPA (2020-2021). I have experience in Computational Biology, working mainly with: Bioinformatics; Virology; Phylogenetics; Genomics; and Epidemiology. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
