Currently, he is an Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC - Florianópolis), Department of Cell Biology, Embryology and Genetics. He has a doctorate in Cell and Structural Biology at UNICAMP, a Master of Science in General and Applied Biology at the Institute of Biosciences / UNESP-Botucatu and a Bachelor's in Biological Sciences at the Faculty of Sciences and Letters / UNESP - Assis. He is the leader of the Research Group "Laboratory of Reproduction and Toxicology (Laretox/UFSC)" and has experience in the area of Morphology, with emphasis on Embryology and Reproductive and Developmental Toxicology. Additionally, he has used rodents as an experimental model for mimicking human exposure to different chemical compounds and to assess the toxicity of these substances in the male and female genital system, sperm quality, fertility and development. He was a permanent professor of the Professional Master's Degree in Biology Teaching from 2021 to 2024.
