Biologist and PhD in genetics from the São Paulo State University - UNESP. Currently, he is a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institutes of Health (USA) under the supervision of Dr. Takashi Akera, focusing on meiotic drive of selfish chromosomes in rodents. He carried out part of his master's, doctoral and postdoctoral research at the University of Granada, Spain. Develops collaborations with the Laboratory of Biology and Genetics of Fish (UNESP-Botucatu), Laboratory of Fish Genetics (UNESP-Bauru), Laboratory of Genetics in Aquaculture and Conservation (CAUNESP-Jaboticabal), Laboratory of Evolutionary Genetics (UFSCAR-São Carlos), Sanger Institute (UK) and Uppsala University (Sweden).
