María Belén Cassera

Graduate in B.S. Biotechnology from Universidad Nacional Del Litoral (2000) and Doctorate in Sciences, Biology of pathogen-host relationship, University of Sao Paulo, Brazil (2005). She has experience in the area of study of System Biology focusing on characterization of metabolic pathways and target validation applied to infectious diseases and human metabolism where the expertise s areas mainly are: malaria (Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax), toxoplasmosis, metabolic pathways, enzyme kinetics and inhibition, screening of inhibitors, validation of therapeutic targets.
