Professor and researcher at the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Federal University of São Carlos, she holds a PhD in Science (2012) from the postgraduate program in Electrical Engineering at the University of São Paulo at São Carlos (EESC-USP). Her thesis, entitled "Assembly and nonlinear H-infinity control of a floating-base robot manipulator", won first place in the 2012 CTDR Robotics/Doctorate Thesis and Dissertation Contest and was awarded third place in the aerospace theme of the III Air Marshal Casimiro Montenegro Filho Award. She holds a degree in Electrical Engineering (2003) from the University of São Paulo at São Carlos (EESC-USP), and also holds certificates of Special Studies in "Instrumentation and Control" and "Biomedical Engineering", in addition to the certificate of "Emphasis in Computing" issued by the Institute of Mathematical and Computer Sciences (ICMC-USP). The Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering in Dynamic Systems from EESC-USP (2006) presented the development of research in the area of #8203;#8203;robotics of space manipulators and robust control systems. She is one of the founding members of the Mechatronics Group at UFSCar and works as a reviewer for several publications in the area of #8203;#8203;robotics and control. She coordinated the Brazilian Robotics Olympiad in the 2018/2019 biennium, an event that accumulated 350,000 participants in that period. She was a member of the Board of Trustees of RoboCup Brazil and served on the Organizing Committee of the RoboCupJunior Rescue category between 2019 and 2024. She is currently a member of the Executive Committee representing RoboCupJunior in the RoboCupFederation.
