Universidade Federal do ABC (UFABC). Centro de Ciências Naturais e Humanas (CCNH)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Graduated in Chemistry (2009) from Centro Universitário Fundação Santo André. Completed a Master's degree (2012) and a Doctorate (2016) in Science and Technology in Chemistry from the Federal University of ABC. During her doctoral studies, she conducted a portion of her research at the Universitat de Barcelona under the guidance of Dr. Enric Brillas Coso. During this period, she explored the use of solar energy in the mineralization of dyes and pharmaceuticals through the solar photoelectro-Fenton reaction. Currently, she works as a researcher at the Federal University of ABC, where she conducts research in the fields of catalysis and applied electrochemistry for effluent treatment. Her research focuses on the degradation of organic pollutants in aqueous media, with an emphasis on the application of Advanced Electrochemical Oxidation Processes. Her studies also encompass the synthesis and characterization of cathodic materials to be used as gas-diffusion electrodes for the electrogeneration of hydrogen peroxide. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
