Bachelor degree in Pharmacy from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie with undergrad laboratory experience at the Bacteriology Laboratory of Instituto Butantan, working in the identification of targets for diagnosis of diarrhogenic Escherichia coli strains and production of recombinant antibodies. Master's degree in Microbiology at the University of São Paulo where worked on the expression of bacterial virulence genes. Sandwich doctorate at the University of Utah, United States, working with development of an animal model to study structure of bacterial adhesion. Currently doing a PhD in Microbiology at the University of São Paulo and working in the host-pathogen interaction.
