Raquel is graduated in Pharmaceutical Science, with master degree in Toxicology and PhD in General Science with expertise in protein purification. Raquel worked as a postdoc at NIH (NHLBI) and at FMRP-USP. At that time she worked on telomeres, telomerase and related diseases such as aplastic anemia, pulmonary fibrosis, cirrhosis and dyskeratosis congenita.
