Oderlei Bernardi is an Agronomist graduated from the Faculty of Agronomy Eliseu Maciel (FAEM), Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel). He has a Master's degree in Crop Protection-Entomology (PPG in Crop Protection FAEM/UFPel). Doctorate and Post-Doctorate in Entomology (PPG in Entomology) from the "Luiz de Queiroz" College of Agriculture (ESALQ/USP). He is currently Professor at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), Santa Maria/RS. He is accredited in the Postgraduate Program in Agronomy (PPGA/UFSM), in which he works as a master's and doctoral advisor. He works to advise undergraduate and postgraduate students in the area of Integrated Pest Management, with an emphasis on Arthropod Resistance. He has developed research work to support the implementation of insect resistance management programs to insecticides and Bt plants in soybean, corn and cotton crops. He is also a technical consultant for the Brazilian Insecticide Resistance Action Committee (IRAC-BR). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
