I hold a PhD in Social Sciences from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), where I explored Haitian connections in Tijuana, analyzing mobility, intersectionality, and borders in Latin America, supported by a FAPESP scholarship. During my Masters in Sociology at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), I conducted a multi-sited ethnography on the sex work market in São Paulos interior, focusing on issues of conduct codes and illegalisms. Throughout my academic journey, I participated in training programs at international institutions such as Harvard, CIESAS (Mexico), and Humboldt University in Berlin, focusing on topics like social resistance and urban inequalities.
