I have a degree in Biological Sciences, Medical Modality, from the Federal University of São Paulo (2002), a masters degree (2005), and a PhD (2009) in Genetics from the Department of Morphology at the Federal University of São Paulo. I have a post-doctorate in Health Sciences from the FMABC University Center. I have been a professor of Genetics since 2006, teaching classes in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biomedicine, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, and Nursing. I am Full professor on Cellular Biology and Development discipline at FMABC University Center anda guest professor in the postgraduate program in genetic counseling (academic master's degree) at the University of São Paulo. I am responsible for the interdisciplinary extension project named "unrevealing the genetics" I have been the Coordinator of the Scientific Initiation Program at FMABC University Center since 2012 and the Head of the Department of Community Health at FMABC University Center since 2018. I am currently the vice-coordinator of the International Student Mobility Program at FMABC University Center, coordinating the program from 2012 to 2022. I have been a permanent advisor for the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program since 2012, having advised 29 Scientific Initiation students, 16 master's students, 9 doctoral students, and 13 TCCs to date. I am also an advisor for the postgraduate program in genetic counseling (academic master's degree) at the University of São Paulo, with an ongoing advisory. I was awarded three FAPESP projects (2013, 2016, 2018), two CNPq Universal projects (2013, 2018), and an ongoing project with PTC Pharmacy. I have 153 articles published in indexed journals, with H factor = 22. As a geneticist, I am the coordinator of the Genetics Laboratory of the Ideia Fértil Institute of Reproductive Health. I am responsible for reproductive genetic counseling at the Ideia Fértil Institute and the FMABC Reference Center for Rare Diseases. I have experience in Human and Medical Genetics, Cytogenetics, and Molecular Biology, and I work in diagnosing rare diseases. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
