Physician graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP) (20112016), with a residency in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at the Hospital das Clínicas of FMUSP (20172020). He holds a specialist title in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine from the Brazilian Association of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ABMFR), as well as in Medical Acupuncture and Pain Management from the Brazilian Medical Association. He completed further training in physical and rehabilitation medicine, robotics, and dysphagia at Fujita Health University (Japan), and pursued postgraduate studies in Clinical Research at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and in Medical Acupuncture and Pain Treatment at the Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology of HCFMUSP.He is an Assistant Professor in the Human Structural Topography discipline in the Department of Surgery at FMUSP. He served as an ambassador and representative of the World Youth Forum of the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM, 20192022). He was awarded the TOYP (The Outstanding Young Persons of the World Brazil) prize in the categories of Leadership and Academic Achievement.He is author and editor of several medical publications, including the Basic Manual of Hospital Medical Procedures (FMUSP), Neurology Treatise, and Medical Emergencies Residency Series. He is also the author of scientific and philosophical books, such as The Science of Ikigai: Exploring the Scientific Foundations of a Life with Meaning (The Science of Life). He has organized over 70 scientific and cultural events.He is co-founder of MedTime Enterprise, with experience in health application software, and co-founder and Medical Coordinator of the Hey Amigo app. Leandro is co-founder and Director of International Relations at the Nikkei Medical Association (AMN); he has worked with Junior Chamber International (JCI) BrazilJapan (Member 2016, Training Director 2017, Vice-President 2018, Project Manager, Advisory Board Member 2019, Innovation Director 2020), where he taught the New Leadership Program focusing on communication, organization, personal and professional development, stress management, leadership, and interpersonal relations.He was the Brazilian medical representative at AMLAR (Latin American Medical Association of Rehabilitation, 20182020) and is a member of the Multidisciplinary Scientific Committee of the Instituto Lado a Lado pela Vida. He has experience in telemedicine through SantéCorp/Saúde ID/Grupo Fleury, contributing to the development of musculoskeletal pain management protocols, medical auditing, and minimally invasive procedures for pain treatment.Currently, he is the Practical Class Coordinator of the Specialization Course in Focused and Radial Shockwave Therapy at the Acupuncture Center of the Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology of HCFMUSP.
