Undergraduate student with major in Biotechnology Engineering from Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) Julio de Mesquita Filho, located in Assis / SP. Develops undergraduate research project in the area of Medicinal Plants with Antitumor and Antioxidant applications. Just completed a year of undergraduate sandwich through the Science Without Borders program at the University of Arizona, in the city of Tucson, AZ, United States, which provided experience with cloning and construction of vascular-specific GFP markers for Arabidopsis thaliana. Also did an internship for 3 months in the Center for Applied Genetic Technologies at the University of Georgia, where assisted in the development of genotyping assays, marker-assisted selection and discovery of new resistance QTL for different traits in soybean.
