Currently, he is a professor of the Cinema and Audiovisual course at the State University of Montes Claros (Unimontes), where he also carries out his second post-doctoral internship linked to the "Interdisciplinary Center for Socio-Environmental Research" (NIISA/PPGDS), working as a collaborating professor. He is a postdoctoral fellow (CNPq-PDJ) in Social Anthropology from the Postgraduate Program in Social Anthropology at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), linked to the "Núcleo de Antropologia Visual" (NAVISUAL), under the supervision by Dra. Cornelia Eckert, where he also worked as a collaborating professor. He is a journalist, photographer, audiovisual producer and anthropologist, graduated in Social Communication from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (2008). He received a master's degree from the Postgraduate Program in Multimedia (Photography and Cinema), from the Institute of Arts at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) and a doctorate in Social Anthropology, with an emphasis on Audiovisual and Image Anthropology, from the Department of Philosophy and Human Sciences (IFCH) at Unicamp, both research funded by FAPESP. Studies topics related to Art, Image (Photography, Cinema, Drawing, Video, etc.), Visual and Image Anthropology, religion, symbolism, rituals, visual and verbal narratives and Japanese culture/"culture". Its focus is on the relationships between the notions and concepts of "experience" and "experimentation" and on reflections on the potential of "assembling" "graphies" as methodology and epistemology in the creation of ethnographic-anthropological knowledge. He has experience in digital journalism, radio, video editing and photojournalism. He has a great interest in the study of different visual "forms of expression", especially Photography and Cinema. He is a member of the "Interdisciplinary Center for Socio-Environmental Research" (NIISA/Unimontes), the "Visual Anthropology Center" (NAVISUAL/UFRGS), the "Anthropological Laboratory of Graphics and Image" (LA'GRIMA/UNICAMP), the "Laboratory of Teaching, Research and Production in Anthropology of Image and Sound" (LEPPAIS/UFPel), the "Production and Research in Audiovisual/Images" (NUPEPA/USP), the "Bank of Images and Visual Effects" (BIEV/UFRGS) and the "Red de Investigación en Antropologia AudioVisual" (RIAA). He has been an effective member of the Brazilian Anthropology Association (ABA) since 2018. Self-declared yellow person and with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Goldsmith apprentice, since 2023.
