Graduated (Bachelor and Licentiate) in Biological Sciences from the University of Mogi das Cruzes (2003), Master in Biological Sciences (Zoology) in (2006) and Doctor in Biological Sciences (Zoology) from the University of São Paulo (2012) and Associate Professor from the State University of São Paulo Julio de Mesquita Filho (2020). He also held a postdoctoral internship at the University of São Paulo (2013). He worked for 2 years on the OBIS (Ocean Biogeographic Information System) project (2006-2008). He has experience in Marine Zoology, with emphasis on Cnidaria, working mainly on the following subjects: Life Cycle, Ecology, Reproduction, Systematics, Evolution, Phylogeography and DNA Barcoding and eDNA. Since 2013 he is Associate Professor (MS5.3-RDIDP) at Universidade Estadual Paulista "Julio de Mesquita Filho".
