Birthplace: Brazil

Graduated in Biological Sciences at the University of Mogi das Cruzes (2003), Master in Biological Sciences (Zoology) in (2006) and PhD in Biological Sciences (Zoology) at the University of São Paulo (2012) and "Livre-docência" at Universidade Estadual Paulista Julio by Mesquita Filho (2020). He also did a postdoctoral internship at the University of São Paulo (2013). He worked for 2 years on the OBIS project (Ocean Biogeographic Information System) (2006-2008). He has experience in Marine Zoology, with an emphasis on Cnidaria, acting mainly on the themes: Life Cycle, Reproduction, Systematics, Evolution, Phylogeography and DNA Barcoding. He is currently Associate Professor (MS5.1 - RDIDP) at Universidade Estadual Paulista "Julio de Mesquita Filho", Faculty of Sciences and Letters of Assis. Advisor in graduate programs in Biosciences (UNESP-FCL / Assis), Biological Sciences (Zoology) (UNESP - IBB-Botucatu) and Aquatic Biodiversity (UNESP - CLP / São Vicente).
