Enrolled an associate professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences (DCAm) and in the Environmental Sciences Graduate Program at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) - SP, with academic tenure since 2013. Graduated in Geography at the University of Santa Maria (2006), Masters (2008) and PhD (2012) in Space Geophysics (concentration in Atmospheric Sciences) at the Brazilian National Institute for Space Research (INPE). He worked as a postdoc fellow in the atmospheric electricity group (ELAT) at INPE until 2013 and as a visiting researcher at the INRAE (Institut national de recherche pour l'agriculture, l'alimentation et l'environnement), Antony, France, in 2019-2020. The research subjects are focused mainly in the atmospheric science and GIS, with emphasis on issues such as climate and hydrology, hydrological models, thunderstorms, remote sensing and geoprocessing.
