Bachelor's degree (2000), master's degree (2003) and doctorate (2009) in Social Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo; a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of São Paulo and a post-doctorate in Communication Sciences from the Autonomous University of Lisbon and in Education from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and the Federal University of São Carlos. He is a researcher at the Center for Studies in Media Art and Politics and a professor in the Postgraduate Program in Social Sciences at PUC-SP and in the Department of Social Sciences at PUC-SP. He is currently the Director of a Segment at Colégio São Luís; Editorial Director of Aurora Magazine; Coordinator of the Politics area and of the Center for Teacher Development at PUC-SP. He has experience in the areas of Political Science and Sociology, with an emphasis on Sociology of Technology, Modern Political Theory and Media Theory, working mainly on the following themes: public policies; education; communication and information technologies; art, politics and society.
