Rodrigo Facchini Magnani

Magnani obtained his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of São Carlos-UFSCar in 2000, obtained his Master's degree in Chemistry from the UFSCar in 2003, obtained his Degree in Chemistry from the UFSCar in 2006 and obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the UFSCar in 2007. Magnani had a Scientific Researcher position at Fundecitrus in 2012, where coordinates the Chemistry Laboratory and the TD-GC-MS/MS Multiuser Equipment (FAPESP grant: 19/13799-3). Since 2015 is a Permanent Professor at the MasterCitrus master's program in the field of Chemical Ecology and since 2022 is a Permanent Professor at the ExpertCitrus specialization program. Works mainly on the following topics: Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry, Chemical Ecology, Semiochemicals, Volatile Organic Compounds, Chemistry of Natural Products, Development of Bioanalytical Methods, Antibiotic and Pesticides Residues, HLB, Citrus Canker, Citrus Black Spot, Diaphorina citri, Fruit Fly (Ceratitis capitata and Anastrepha fraterculus) and Citrus Fruit Borer (Gymnandrosoma aurantianum).
