Márcio Henrique de Avelar Gomes

Associate Professor at the Federal University of Technology (UTFPR), graduated in Mechanical Engineering at State University of Campinas (UNICAMP - 1994), MSc. in Mechanical Engineering at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (1998), Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina in cooperation with the Institute of Technical Acoustics from Aachen University (2002). Has experience in fields of Mechanical and Civil Engineering, and Architecture with focus on Acoustics and Vibration. Acting mainly on the following subjects: room acoustics, building acoustics, acoustical simulation, sound diffusion and scattering, measuring techniques for sound and vibration, psychoacoustics, noise control, and non-destructive tests.
