Ivan is a researcher and visiting professor at the Graduate Program in Sociocultural Diversity at the Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi, with a research grant from the Endangered Languages Documentation Programme - ELDP - Germany) to document the Djeoromitxi language (Macro-Jê). He holds a bachelor's, master's, and doctorate in Linguistics from the University of São Paulo. He was a visiting researcher at the University of Texas (USA) through the BEPE / FAPESP program. He has experience in Linguistics and Documentation of indigenous languages; interested in Computational Linguistics, Theory of Mind, Cognitive Science, and Language Neuroscience. His academic training and research were funded through scholarships from the Volkswagen Foundation for graduation, CNPq for masters, FAPESP for doctorates, and CAPES and CNPq for postdoctoral studies.
