I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Medical Anthropology - Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Studies, Ethnographic Museum/Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, and I am part of the Leviathan Project, funded by the ERC (European Research Council) (854503-Leviathan-ERC-2019SyG). I hold a PhD in History from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), with a period of research at the Università degli Studi Roma Tre, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Verónica Roldán. I hold a Master's degree in Sociology from the interinstitutional program of the universities Roma Tre, La Sapienza, and Tor Vergata, Italy. Master's degree in History from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), with a period of research at the Università degli Studi di Udine, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nicola Gasbarro. Licentiate and Bachelor's degree in History from the Federal University of Ouro Preto (UFOP). Member of the Center for Studies in Cultural History of Religions (CEHIR). From 2008 to 2012, he participated in the Cantaria-UFOP Extension Program, developing research and activities on education, university extension, and historical and cultural heritage. He is currently conducting research and is interested in the following topics: culture and subjectivity, medical anthropology, contemporary history, religious rituals, gender, and decolonization.
