Juliana Morini Küpper Cardoso Perseguini

Biologist (Bachelor's and Teaching degree), Ph.D. in Genetics and Molecular Biology from UNICAMP (2013), Master's degree from the Agronomic Institute of Campinas (IAC) in the area of Tropical and Subtropical Agriculture - Genetics, Plant Breeding, and Biotechnology (2009). Works with molecular markers, genetic diversity, genetic mapping, and associative mapping in cultivated species. Currently, she is involved in bioinformatics projects with the aim of identifying genes of interest in plants, animals, and humans, as well as conducting pangenome analyses. Holds a Post-Doctorate from the Agronomic Institute of Campinas (IAC), with a project on assisted selection using the AB-QTL technique. Completed a Post-Doctorate in the field of Bioinformatics at USP-SP. Specialized in Genome Assembly and Annotation of Microorganisms (Distance Learning). Works as a Professor of Higher Education at the Technological Federal University of Paraná (UTFPR). She is also a professor in the Molecular Biology Specialization Course (Distance Learning). Participates in two research groups recognized by CNPQ (Molecular Biology and Environmental Education). Guides students in undergraduate thesis projects (TCC) - in Biological Sciences, Bioprocess Engineering and Biotechnology, Agronomy, and Zootechnics, in scientific initiation projects, mandatory supervised internship projects (Courses: Biological Sciences - Teaching Modality / Bioprocess Engineering and Biotechnology / Agronomy / Zootechnics; Master's (PPGBIOTEC and PPGZOO), co-supervised master's students in PPGSIS, supervised two students in the Double-Diploma modality (Undergraduate Course in Zootechnics - UTFPR Campus Dois Vizinhos - PR / IPB - Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (Portugal); Collaborates in the following extension projects: +Green Room (Ministry of the Environment's endorsement granted by the Federal Government to UTFPR-DV) - In this project, she works with Educommunication and conducts workshops in communities affected by dams (Hydroelectric Constructions); School and Family Project.
