Full Professor at Inatel (the Brazilian National Institute of Telecommunications) and Telecommunications Consultant. He received his Master Degree on Electrical Engineering from UNICAMP in 2002 and Ph.D. degree on Telecommunications Engineering from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna-Italy in 2006. He has been Invited Researcher from many world-recognized universities, such as University of Oulu-Finalnd (2017), Danish Technical University-Denmark (2013), Max Planck Institute-Germany (2010), University of Bath - UK (2004, 2005 and 2007) and Scuola Superiore SantAnna - Italy (2015, 2017 and 2019). He was Associate Professor from State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) from March 2009 to August 2011. Since 2009 he has been acting as a Coordinator of RD Projects on diverse areas of telecommunications, including 5G, 6G, Antennas, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Microwave Photonics, Optical Communications and Radars. He is a holder of 12 patents, has transferred 31 products to the industry and has published over 380 scientific papers in international journals or conference proceedings. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
