She holds a degree in Medical Sciences from the National University of Rosario (1986), a medical residency in Internal Medicine also from UNR (1989), a specialization in hospital management from the Technion Institute (1993), a Master's degree in Collective Health from the State University of Campinas (1998) a PhD in Collective Health from the State University of Campinas (2001) and a pos doctoral degree from the State University of Campinas (2013). Since 2004 she is a full time Professor of the Medical Sciences Faculty (State University of Campinas). Coordinated the Graduate Program in Collective Health of the Medical Sciences Faculty. Coordinated the FCM/ Unicamp graduate commission between 2014-2018. Currently Visiting Professor at the Department of Psychiatry at Yale University (2018-19). She has experience in Public Health, with emphasis on the following topics: collective health, management and subjectivity, mental health, health planning and public policies, policy and service evaluation. She was an advisor to the National Policy on Humanization and to the National Coordination of Mental Health/Brazilian Ministry of health. She participates actively in the training of physicians and Coordinates the Multi professional Residency Program in Mental and Collective Health.
