bachelor's degree at Biological Sciences from Universidade de São Paulo (2001) and PhD in Botany from Universidade de São Paulo (2007). I conduct research in: 1) Environmental and Scientific Education, with an emphasis on Citizen Science and Marine and Coastal Environmental Education; 2) Botany, with an emphasis on Phycology and Botany Teaching and 3) Ecology of Benthic Marine Communities. I am an associate professor at the Federal University of ABC. I am linked to the permanent nucleus of the Graduate Program in Evolution and Diversity at UFABC and the Graduate Program in Teaching and History of Science and Mathematics at UFABC.
