Assistant Professor at the Institute of Applied Social Sciences at the Federal University of Alfenas. Holds a PhD in Political Science and a Master's in Sociology from UNICAMP. Conducted part of doctoral research at Université Paris 8 under the supervision of Professor Michel Vakaloulis. Completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Social Sciences at UNIFESP, under the supervision of Professor Henrique Amorim (2012). Was a visiting professor in the Graduate Program in Sociology at UFGD (2016) and a visiting scholar at the Department of International Development, King's College London (2022). Research focuses on Political Science and Political Sociology, with emphasis on the following topics: social movements, anti-globalization, feminism, gender, social classes, and neoliberalism. Member of the subsequent research groups registered with the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq): "Neoliberalism and Class Relations in Brazil" (coordinated by Armando Boito Jr., UNICAMP); "Gender for Non-Intolerance (GENI)" (coordinated by Fernanda Onuma, UNIFAL), with funding from FAPEMIG; and "Social Classes and Work" (coordinated by Henrique Amorim, UNIFESP), with funding from CNPq.
