Graduated in Biological Sciences (Bachelor's and Licentiate's degrees) from Mackenzie Presbyterian University (2000). Master of Science (Nuclear Technology - Applications) from the University of São Paulo (2004) and PhD in Science (Nuclear Technology - Applications) from the University of São Paulo (2008). He is currently a Scientific Researcher VI at the Hospital das Clínicas of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (HCFMUSP) in the Protozoology Laboratory of the Institute of Tropical Medicine of São Paulo/USP. Collaborating Researcher at the Department of Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine of FMUSP. Vice-responsible for the Laboratory of Protozoology, Bacteriology and Antimicrobial Resistance (LIM49), CNPq Research Productivity Fellow, alternate member of the Animal Use Ethics Committees of FMUSP and IPEN, member of the Permanent Education Unit (UEP - LIMHCFMUSP) and full advisor in the Infectious Diseases and Global Health Program FMUSP. With experience in the areas of Parasitology, Immunology, Molecular Biology and Serology, working mainly on the following topics: Toxoplasma gondii, Ionizing Radiation, Vaccine Development, Intestinal Immunity, Irradiated Toxins, Serology and Laboratory Diagnosis.
