Graduated in Physical Education from the University of São Paulo (1986), Master's degree in Physical Education (Biodynamics of Human Body Movement) from the University of São Paulo (1994) and PhD in Physical Education (Biodynamics area) from the University of São Paulo Paulo (1999) with a research internship at the University of Wisconsin, Madison - USA (Sandwich PhD). Has worked since 1988 as Professor of the Department of Biodynamics at the School of Physical Education at the University of São Paulo and Vice Coordinator of the Hemodynamics of Motor Activity Laboratory (LAHAM). Responsible for and teaching the subjects "Physiology of Motor Activity II" and "Biochemistry of Motor Activity. Investigates the therapeutic role of physical exercise in cardiovascular and metabolic regulation in patients with cardiovascular disease. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
