Felipe de Souza Dutra

Ph.D. candidate in Biotechnology at the University of Caxias do Sul, currently pursuing a degree in Agricultural Engineering at the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG). Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Marine and Coastal Biology from the State University of Rio Grande do Sul (Uergs) and Master of Science in Evolution and Diversity from the Federal University of ABC (UFABC). Former Technical Training III grantee from Fapesp at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC), working on the Biota Araçá project (Benthic Systems). Experienced in research activities focusing on marine (benthihc) and agricultural (entomology) ecology. Currently, my research focuses on the characterization and potential biotechnological applications of the red macroalgae Kappaphycus alvarezii, particularly its use as an agricultural biostimulant.
