He holds a degree in Biology from the University of Córdoba - Spain (2003), a master's degree in Ecology and Biomonitoring from the Federal University of Bahia (2006) and a PhD in Zoology - IB/USP from the University of São Paulo (2012). He has completed postdoctoral studies at the University of São Paulo, the University of Arizona, the Doñana Biological Station and the University of Roma Tre. He is currently a professor of Animal Physiology at the Autonomous University of Madrid. He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Ecology, with an emphasis on Herpetology, working mainly on the following topics: Ecophysiology, Macrophysiology and Evolution.
