Birthplace: Brazil

Oceanography undergraduated student at the Oceanographic Institute of the University of São Paulo, currently attending the tenth semester of the Bachelor. I have been granted a scientific initiation fellowship by FAPESP and worked at the Laboratory of Nutrients, Trace and micro-nutrients in the oceans (LabNut) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Elizabeth de Santis Braga, where I explored the topic of the biogeochemical cycles of carbon, specifically focusing on the carbon dioxide cycle and the potential marine ecosystems might have as drain of this gas. During 2014-2015 I was an exchange student at the University of Liverpool, where I enrolled part of the Maths with Ocean and Climate Sciences root as part of the Science without Borders Programme. At the moment, I've been working on my final project at IO-USP, supervised by Prof. Dr. Elisabete de Santis Braga, where I focus on the carbonate system interplay and ocean acidification at different marine coastal systems.
